The Dinner Society is a monthly cooking class designed for Adults and Teens (16+) who enjoy learning, cooking, and sharing good food together. Each session features a thoughtfully planned menu focused on seasonal ingredients, foundational techniques, and approachable delicious dishes you can recreate at home.

In this 3 hour interactive tamale workshop, you will master the art of preparing masa, sauces, fillings (traditional and vegetarian or vegan), and salsas. Learn the steaming process and how to set up your steamer to cook the tamales. Then sit back and enjoy a meal of tamales, fresh rice and chips/salsa! Savor flavors, share stories, and celebrate your newfound tamale-making skills.

Each attendee will take home 1 dozen tamales + a small tamale steamer. All supplies included.

Learn how to mix, shape, score and bake your own sourdough! This workshop is a hands-on experience facilitated by local Micro-Baker Kristin Wells of Kiki's Kitchen!

You'll leave with your own sourdough starter, made from well-established organic starter and working knowledge of the sourdough process as well as a prepared mini-loaf in a banneton, ready to be baked fresh at home the next day. Workshop includes: hands-on instruction, prepared mini-loaf, banneton, tasting of fresh baked loaves and written instructions!
